An experience so exceptional everybody leaves feeling beautiful inside and out. We believe what sets us apart is our ability to communicate, providing each guest with a thorough consultation as well as education regarding how to re-create their look at home. Whether it’s creating a beautiful, customized look for each guest, donating a percentage of our sales to local charities, or creating a shop local Facebook group page just for our community, we live and work by our mission every day.
The
J.Booth Salon story
Our salon company was founded in 1981 by Edna Booth, the grandmother of current owner, Jen. Edna had experience cutting and styling a neighbor’s hair, but no formal training; simply a natural talent and enjoyment of the profession. However, when she was in her 30s, her husband was laid off from his job, requiring her to bring in more income. Edna decided to pursue hair as a career and, thanks to a nomination from her neighbor, was able to attend beauty school at only half the cost of regular tuition. Once she graduated, Edna opened her salon, beginning the tradition of styling excellence.
Edna had a natural calling for hair, and Jen followed suit. Growing up in the salon, Jen learned the skills necessary to continue providing guests with a professional, quality salon experience. Once she took over in 2006, she renamed the salon Jen’s Styling Booth — now J.Booth Salon as of 2021 — but kept the same principles her grandmother started.
While the name may have changed, our guests can still expect the same level of excellence they have come to know over the years. Our in-house associate program ensures guests receive consistent results and a look they’ll love, while our stylists are provided with the opportunity to grow and improve their craft. Today, we are proud to be named by Salon Today Magazine as one of the Top 200 Salons in North America.

Cancellation Policy: We know life gets busy. Our commitment at J Booth Salon is to provide an exceptional guest experience at every reservation. If a conflict develops on your calendar, please give us a minimum of 24 hours for rescheduling or canceling a reservation. A cancellation made within 24 hours will result in a 50% charge, and all future reservations will need to be reserved with a credit card.
